The Court Yard at Casa Gorodo
The Gorordo house was built sometime in the 1860's. The house, therefore, has red clay tile roofing, huge posts of roughly hewn logs, stone walls in the lower level, and the floors made of Philippine hardwood in the upper story. All these pails are meticulously restored now. Frequent fires that struck the city necessitated the building of houses of more durable and less inflammable structures.
